The Brazilian Journal of Orthopaedics/Revista Brasileira de Ortopedia (RBO) is an important platform of Open Access content and the Official Scientific Publication of the
Brazilian Society of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (Sociedade Brasileira de Ortopedia e Traumatologia: SBOT).
Its mission is to actively contribute to the improvement and development of research and teaching in Orthopaedics and Traumatology and related fields.
The specialities covered are as follows: Arthroscopy and Sports Traumatology; ASAMI (external fixators); Tissue Bank; Spine; Metabolic Bone Disease; Pain; Infections; Knee; Hand; Shoulder and Elbow; Oncology; Paediatric Orthopaedics; Hip; Ankle and Foot; Trauma and Anaesthesiology.
The journal has been active without interruption since 1965 and publishes bimonthly.
Authors interested in submitting their material have the option of choosing from the following categories:
Original Articles; Update Articles; Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis Articles; Systematic Review Protocol; Technical Note.
The journal accepts articles both in Portuguese and English.
RBO is aimed at orthopaedic doctors and health professionals dedicated to related activities, not only from the SBOT, but also from other societies and countries.
