Journal of Neurological Surgery Reports - Innovations in Neurosurgery and Otolaryngology is a companion to the Journal of Neurological Surgery (JNLS) and a multidisciplinary publication with a special focus on detailing the symptoms, diagnosis and treatment of clinical cases. The Journal of Neurological Surgery Reports is an invaluable resource for all neurosurgeons and skull base surgeons, including those specializing in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery, maxillo-facial surgery, neuro-ophthalmology, neuro-radiology, and plastic surgery.
Aims and Scope
- To communicate unique or unusual clinical cases encountered across the fields of neurosurgery and skull base surgery
- To report individual results of new surgical approaches and techniques
- To complement the research findings and reviews published in Journal of Neurological Surgery with clinical data and cases
- To promote greater exchange of information between the specialties and sub-specialties related to neurosurgery and skull base surgery
All manuscripts submitted to Journal of Neurological Surgery Reports undergo rigorous blind peer review. As an Open Access publication, all articles in Journal of Neurological Surgery Reports are freely available for all to read and download from Thieme E-Journals.
Journal of Neurological Surgery Reports publishes Original Reports, Review Reports, Technical Reports, Case Reports, Operative Video Reports, Letters-to-the-editor and Invited reports. The American Head and Neck Society (AHNS) is collaborating with the Journal of Neurological Surgery Reports to present the Skull Base Oncology Case Series. Submissions are by invitation only. Manuscripts should describe a brief case report followed by a focused review of the literature. Manuscripts are limited to 500 words. Case images are requested and video content supporting the manuscript are strongly encouraged. Publication fees will be waved for this collaboration.
