The Indian Journal of Plastic Surgery (IJPS) is the official journal of the Association of Plastic Surgeons of India. The society has more than 2000 members from India and overseas and aims to promote and develop plastic surgery as well as provide training for both under graduate and post-graduate teaching programs in India.

For more than 50 years the society has disseminated knowledge amongst practicing plastic surgeons, students, researchers, and various members of the medical profession in general. Its members include reputed clinicians who are leading book authors and key opinion leaders. The journal is one of the leading plastic surgery journals in South-East Asia.
IJPS focuses on publishing high quality original investigations and reviews addressing various aspects including skin anatomy, inflammation, skin grafting, stem cell research, reconstructive surgery, cosmetic surgery, emerging surgical techniques, epidemiological studies and more.

IJPS requires that authors follow the ICMJE (International Committee of Medical Journal Editors) recommendations for the Conduct, Reporting, Editing, and Publication of Scholarly work in Medical Journals. More information can be found here: https://www.icmje.org
